Importing from a spreadsheet
How to bring a fleet, member or hours list in from spreadsheets, what to prepare, and what to expect.

If your records live in spreadsheets, we import them the same careful way we import from another system: we read them, map each column to FlyerOS, clean and validate as we go, and agree with you what is carried forward.
What helps
- One row per thing. One row per aircraft, per member, per booking, not several facts stacked in a cell.
- Consistent columns. A registration is always in the same column; a date is always a date, not sometimes text.
- Whatever you already track. Hours, currency, expiries, if it is structured, it can usually come across.
You do not need to reformat everything first. Send us what you have; part of the work is turning a real, slightly messy spreadsheet into clean records.
What we do with it
We map your columns to the FlyerOS model and show you the mapping before loading. Where a value is ambiguous, a half-filled cell, a date that could be two things, we flag it and ask, rather than guessing. Anything that cannot be trusted is handled deliberately, not carried across silently.
After the import
Your fleet, people and history appear in FlyerOS as if they had always been there. Check the counts against your spreadsheet, and see What counts as an aircraft on your bill so the fleet you imported lines up with what you expect to pay.
