Message and notification templates

How FlyerOS sends notifications and messages from templates across the channels you use, so the wording is consistent and every message is recorded.

Last reviewed

The messages FlyerOS sends, a booking confirmation, a reminder, a note that a flight moved, come from templates rather than being written fresh each time. That keeps the wording consistent and lets you set the tone once.

One template, the channel you use

A template is written once and can go out on the channels you have set up, whether that is an in-product notification, email or another channel. The content is defined in one place, so the same event reads the same way however it reaches the person.

Edit the wording, keep the behaviour

You can adjust the wording of a template to sound like your school without touching what triggers it. The trigger, a booking confirmed, a defect raised, stays the system's job; the words are yours.

Recorded, not fired into the void

Every message sent is recorded against the person and the event it relates to, so you can see what was sent and when. A student who says they were never told can be answered from the record.
